I am in my junior year working on my EC/Elementary Education degree. I just finished working in Washington, DC for DCPS (public schools) for the extended school year. I worked with a few children at the elementary level who have individualized education plans and were eligible for additional services during the summer. I am beginning to search for schools that offer a MA in Special Education/Deaf Education. My long term goal is to become a teacher in Deaf education.
